Nvidia a nic nepomaha, log prilozen

Dobry den, mam problem s gr. kartou NVIDIA GF 6600 Agp.
Postupoval jsem podle techto stranek: http://suseportal.cz/nvidia_a_ovladace_snad_uz_naposled, ale nefunguje mi to. Kdyz ovladace nastavim v Yastu tak po restartu mi nenabehne KDE, ale konzole ma rozliseni 1600x1200. Kdyz to skusim rucne, tak jak je popsano zde: http://suseportal.cz/instalace_ovladace_spolecnosti_nvidia tak kdyz napisu sax2 -m 0=nvidia tak mi to napise ze nejdou spustit a v logu mam toto:

Mám NVIDII 6100 a používám opensuse 10.2. Po nainstalování nových ovladačů NVIDIA mi taky přestaly jít Xka. Hlásilo to nějaké chyby v textové konzoli a dál to neběželo. Celé sem to přeinstaloval a stejně grafika neběžela. Xka sice jela ale nejela 3D podpora . Podařilo se mi to vyřešit příkazem nvidia_xconfig spouštěném pod rootem. Vypadalo to že si to srovnalo rozlišení. Vyzkoušejte třeba se Vám zadaří.

nvidia zkusenosti

Zdravim.

Jen si prilozim polinko. Na jednom PC jsem donedavna pouzival SuSE 9.3. Vysetril jsem trochu casu a povysil na openSUSE 10.2. Na tomhle stroji je graficka karta NVIDIA MX 400. Dosud jsem instaloval ovladace pro kartu rucne. Po precteni navodu jsem provedl instalaci pomoci YASTu. Ouha, tohle nefungovalo! Sice se nacetl modul nvidia misto nv, ale nejak si nerozumel s konfiguraci xorg. Takze zpet k rucni instalaci. Ta sice na prvni pokus prochazi. Ale po nastartovani X jsou nejake divne fonty. No, kdopak by se asi koukal na pismeno velke jako obrazovka. :-)
Trochu mne to vyvedlo z miry a donutilo se zacist do logu, diskusi a navodu.
Nakonec jsem tuhle neprijemnost vyresil instalaci jine verze ovladace karty (nizsi) i kdyz i predesly ovladac moji kartu mel podporovat. Zda je nefunkcnost zpusobenou chybou v ovladaci nebo nejakou moji nepozornosti uz dale neresim. Jedine co od tohoto stroje potrebuji je vystup na dve obrazovky (CRT a TV) a to uvedena karta plni s nyni instalovanymi ovladaci a v soucasne konfiguraci xorg.

Ale, abych rekl pravdu, trosku (dost) mne tahle ekvilibristika s grafickou kartou rozciluje. A kdyz tak koukam po diskusich, tak jsem docela rad, ze pouzivam jen par zarizeni vybiranych s rozmyslem a predurcenim ke spolupraci s linuxem.
No, povzdechl jsem si na cizim hrobe a docela mne to uspokojilo. Obzvlaste proto, ze je dnes takovy hic a nic rozumnejsiho mne nenapadlo.
A pouceni? Hm. Zadne. Nebo snad jen, ze obcas pomuze nejlepe metoda pokus omyl.
